I always watch the Topshop Fashion Week every year....

I haven't gone to London Fashion Week yet but I will always find time to watch the livestream of Topshop's London Fashion Week. Topshop is an amazing brand with such great clothes and I do love the authencity of their style in clothing, it is definitely right up my alley. Watching their fashion weeks every year always gives me new outfit ideas and also makeup looks! So to see more of their stylish outfits, keep on scrolling...

Think Madame Jojo’s, the Revuebar

The Topshop Fashion Week was inspired by the streets of Soho. An energetic place in the West End filled with an electic mix of culture and nightlife. The outfits were definitely inspired by this with the choice of colours, dazzle and glitter. The girls that walked the runway were clothed with outfits that resembled the hustle and jazz of the Soho streets with the embellished dresses and the satin blazers. The choice of materials immediately mirrored the neon lights of Soho with the metallics, sliver, crystal and diamante palette. The aim of these outfits were to show that any girl can thrive on individuality which is definitely evident.

She thrives on individuality. And the music plays forever.

The creative world of Soho is shown in these outfits with the everyday huge coats but also showed the nightlife side with the faux fur coats. What's not to love? The venue that it took place in was only a small distance away from London's iconic nightlife land. The choice of velvet and transparent blouses also shows how such outfits can be worn on an everyday basis, which I absolutely loved. This fashion show exemplifed the uniqueness and authencity of the Topshop brand as they played with personal styles on each Topshop girl.

The Topshop girl's instinctive verve and personal style.

I think there are three words that stood out for me the most in the Topshop Fashion Week: coats, denim and trousers. I fell in love with the huge coats, the blazers and the faux-fur - each one of them looked absolutely perfect for the fast approaching Autumn and Winter time. Lest not forget the famous Topshop denim brand which made its appearance multiple times. The denim jackets are a must have for each season as they can be layered easily or not as well as their famous jeans. The new Orson slim jeans are the return of a new rigid denim. We also cannot forget to mention the two pairs of trousers that I immediately fell in love with, the pink pair of trousers would look perfect day or night especially in the Spring period. I can't forget about these beautiful cummerbund trousers which look perfect for any look you want to achieve!

I love this new collection and have added a few bits to my wishlist. What about you, did you like this years collection?

Styling outfits for London Fashion Week....

It is officially the start of the London Fashion Week, the week where all the bloggers, press and attendees go wild. I could only imagine how it goes as I haven't been but hopefully I will go next week year February. I love seeing the different outfits that bloggers put together and this year, I am currently into wide leg trousers. So keep scrolling to see what and how I would pair my wide leg trousers....

Now on to my favourite outfit, one that I am totally in love with. I recently discovered the brand Eileen Fisher after I was handed this v neck sleeveless vest, I instantly fell in love with it and have been pairing it with T.M Lewin shirts but for fashion week, I decided to go for a monotone all black and white outfit. The V Neck sleeveless top went perfectly with this top that I got from ASOS two years ago, with a black Primark belt and my wide leg trousers. To top it off and make it a bit more different I styled some sock like boots from Aldo. To find it off, I was going to put a black bag but I thought to myself, why not be different? I'd put my old Burberry bag with this outfit to give it a change in colour.

Some of you already know if you are following me over on Instagram that I am obsessed with wide, bell sleeves and outfits that are flamboyant. So, I had to of course pair wide leg trousers with this shirt from PrettyLittleThing. The outfit reminds me of clinging on to the remainder of summer which is slowly coming to an end but also the entrance into the autumnal period. I paired this outfit with some block open toe heels which I thought gave the outfit a bit more character but also classiness. To put my phone and lipgloss in I think I might go with this Dune number, of course. I'd defo wear an outfit like this to London Fashion Week.

Trialling Out Avene Skincare

Trialling Out Avene Skincare

I am officially in love with French Pharmacy....

Avene is a French skincare brand that is based on optimising ingredients for the benefit of people's skin, especially for those who suffer from irritations, eczema and acne. As someone who has sensitive skin as well as had eczema in the past, I always cling to brands that are good for sensitive skin. Before trying out Avene I had tried out Caudalie which has such good products for my sensitive skin, their Vinosource range is incredible. From then on, I had a feeling that French pharmacy might be my new favourite thing. A couple of weeks ago, Avene sent me samples of their skincare products after I told them some of the concerns that I have with my skin. The main problem that I have with my skin would have to be the blackheads around my nose, they recommended that I try out their Skin Recovery Cream* and Hydrance Optimale Serum*.

I have been using The Avene Thermal Spring Water (review post) in my daily skincare routine. This was a huge bonus as, during the months that I used it, I was in the middle of a heavy heatwave so this helped with unbearable heat. The Thermal Spring Water is also great for making my skin look and feel fresh on a daily basis. So you could say that I was very excited about trying more of this brand...

The Avene Skin Recovery Cream //  I started using this cream over a month ago and I must say that I have seen a lot of improvements especially around my nose area. I was under a bit of stress and with that I started to break out into what I like to call "stress rashes".  Within in a week, I saw a huge difference and after one use, the cream helped to reduce the irritation. Before using this, I thought that the cream would be heavy but it isn't, it is lightweight and has a soft texture. I really love the name of this cream as it has definitely helped to restore my skin to how it was before the stress. Not to mention the blackheads around my nose which have reduced and has made my nose feel quite smooth.

The Avene Hyrdrance Optimale Serum //  I have tried quite a few serums in the past and I instantly fell in love with this serum. The Hydrance Optimale Serum contains a high concentration of the Avene Thermal Spring Water which hydrates and calms the skin immediately after use. The Serum is incredibly lightweight and fragrance free, after using this with the Skin Recovery cream my skin has been continously left with clamity, nourishment and hydration. My skin feels incredibly soft after using this and of course, I like to spray the Avene Thermal Facial Spray afterwards which feels lovely after a long day!

The Avene skincare brand has made me eager to try more of their products and I must say that I am very impressed by them. I definitely need to try more of this brand, maybe next I'll try out their masks!

Have you tried out any French Pharmacy? Have you tried out Avene skincare?

A Jo Malone English Oak Hand and Arm Massage

My favourite fragrance is The English Oak & Redcurrant....

Jo Malone is a quintessential British perfume and scented candle brand who are known for their 'odd' fragrance combinations. For me, a Jo Malone purchase is always a treat and I love to buy a little something from there every now and again. I think that Jo Malone's complimentary hand and arm massage are a yearly treat for me as I did get a massage from them last year. I talked about my lovely treatment using the Wild Bluebell fragrance over on a blog post, but seeing as Jo Malone have released a new scent. I had to say yes to the hand and arm massage, I was sent a sample of the two fragrances and they smell absolutely divine.

A Jo Malone English Oak Hand and Arm Massage

Jo Malone offers hand and arm massage at nearly every boutique especially if you are about to get on a long haul flight at an airport. The massage is roughly 20 minutes long but definitely worth the short time. I also find that if you're being massaged by someone very kind and friendly you'll have one of the best time ever. Before the massage takes place, I was asked if I have any certain preferences in fragrances or if I own any Jo Malone products. I am at the moment in love with Blackberry & Bay so they combined this with my favourite scent of the new collection, The English Oak & Redcurrant. An odd pair but a lovely scent, I also tried out Nectarine Blossom and Honey with The English Oak & Hazelnut which smelt amazing. The nectarine complimented with the hazelnut really well, I think I might have to add them two on to my ever growing list at Jo Malone.

To accompany the release they had provided a special type of chocolate. The chocolate was from Rococo on Kings Road who are also known for their odd combination of certain ingredients, their chocolate combination included red pepper, cocoa and peppermint. A perfect combination between the two companies!

The Blackberry & Bay Hand and Body Wash was whisked in a small bottle to create lovely, warm, soft foaming bubbles which felt gentle on the skin. Such a little amount made a lot of product which showed that it is definitely worth the money. The wash felt made my skin feel very silky and brightened my arms instantly. To cleanse off the body wash, they used a hot Lime and Mandarin infused towel which felt luxurious. To moisturise my hand and arms, the Blackberry & Bay Body Creme was applied, the creme doesn't feel tacky but silky soft and provides lustre to the skin immediately as well as gentle shine. To finish off the massage, the English Oak and Redcurrant cologne was sprayed on my arms and softly pressed into my skin.

The English Oak release is a pleasant start to the beginning of Autumn and I love the vibe that it brings with it. I would definitely recommend the two scents to anyone who wants a new fragrance for the approaching Autumnal period. The English Oak and Redcurrant is quite a bright fragrance, perfect for the transitional period to Autumn as it includes mandarin and rose whereas the English Oak and Hazelnut immediately reminded me of being deep in Autumn/Winter. The fragrance is woody and spiced with roasted oak.

Have you tried out the English Oak scent? Have you ever had a hand and arm massage from Jo Malone?
