Baking and setting our concealers under our eyes has become part of our makeup routines. I wasn't very sure about this trend, just because I was worried that I wasn't good enough at makeup to do this. But after watching endless videos on how to do it right, etc. I've finally mastered the baking trend, depsite not purchasing the holy grail most used Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder, I've been using drugstore makeup products to achieve an effortless makeup look on a day to day basis.

Collection Sheer Loose Powder | I can't remember the first time I ever heard of this powder, but I will definitely tell you that it was from my endless, sleepless nights of Youtube beauty channels. I bought this powder which was extremely affordable for only £2.99. To apply this loose powder, I prefer to use a beauty blender rather than a powder because the finish is a lot better. With a brush I find that this powder makes my under eyes look patchy as well as illuminate my dark under eye circles. After allowing this to bake under my eyes for at least 3-5 minutes, yes that's long, but during this time I usually do my eye makeup or watch Instagram videos. To remove the excessive amount of powder, I use a massive fluffy brush and with little circular motions I swipe it off.

Would I recommend this powder? Definitely, I would! Especially those boiling hot summer days.

Ben Nye Luxury Powder | This power is quite similar to the colour of the Collection Sheer Loose Powder. It is a lightweight powder that does stay on the face all day, it is easy to brush away however, I must say I thought that it would be more of a banana powder but it isn't. It is more of a neutral loose powder. For those days where you want to look amazing in photos with no flashbacks this would be a good powder to use.

Ben Nye Topaz Powder | To be quite honest with you, I am still not sure about this powder, it is quite orange for my skin tone which makes me thing that this powder probably isn't for me. It is the same weight as the Luxury Powder but obviously it makes me look a bit orange. However, it doesn't not dry out my face, it also lasts all day and overall is a really good product. This would be better for another skin tone other my own.

Would I recommend this powder? Yes, I would just make sure that if you are going for the powders directed at your skin tone, make sure that it is the right one!

Do you use any loose powders?
