Spring, It's Time To Bring Out The Blush Pinks

It's officially Spring. Personally, I am not a big fan of the hotter seasons in England because it is unbearably hot however I do love Spring, it's a bit breezy and warm at the same time, therefore, it is the perfect time to bring out the blush pinks. Now, I am a huge fan of blush pinks, nudes and mustard colours. There's something about those colours that make me happy, so seeing as it is Spring it's time to embrace them a bit more. Below, I've listed some of my favourite outfits for this time of the year that fit in with these colours.

What blush pink wardrobe favourites will you be bringing out this Spring?

Why I Love Going To The Gym?

Sunday, 19 March 2017

If you've been following me on here for a while, you would have realised that I am obsessed with going to the gym. If you follow me on Instagram, you'll see that I like to upload the odd workout routines as well.

I remember when I first got started into fitness, I only did it because I had to it, it's something that I forced myself to do.  I used to workout twice a day because I didn't like the way I looked, I had to exercise and I had to change my body. But then I plucked the courage to go to the gym where up until this day I thoroughly enjoy going there. For me, going to the gym is a place to escape and focus on myself. I can't express and explain how much I love working out, I love lifting weights, practising on my yoga and having my own me time. I'd recommend the gym to anyone who wants to escape the house every once in a while, a place for you to focus on yourself whenever you need to.

Of course, people don't like to work out. At first, I did not, to be honest with you but I started to make my workouts a bit more different and exercises that I enjoy. I started to enjoy working out and seeing the changes that it had on my body. There were many people that motivated me to improve my physical and mental fitness such as GraceFitUK, StefFit and HealthySteph. You can also find the most perfect exercises on Pinterest as well I have a board full of exercises to use.

Personally, I like to make my own workout schedules and programmes. Each month I like to change up my workout routines to what suits me most, it's my favourite thing to do each month. Ever since I have been taking my workouts more seriously I have seen a huge difference in my physique and my strength.

Do you go to the gym? Or what fitness routines do you stick to?

An Interview With BeautyxDivision

Tuesday, 14 March 2017

It's been a while since I have uploaded on here, there will be a post this week all about it! But for today, here's an interview I did with the lovely Lauren from Beauty Division. For those who don't know, I like to interview some of my favourite bloggers every month so that you can get to know more about them! Enjoyyyyyyy.....

1. Hello, Lauren. Please introduce yourself and tell us something about yourself.
Hello Lee, I am Lauren and I am 23. On 28th February). I am from Devon and I predominantly write about Beauty over on my blog.

2. How long have you been blogging?
I have been blogging for three years. I started back in 2013 and I've been enjoying it ever since then. I can never see myself getting bored of it.

3. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Have you incorporated this into your blog and what are you most excited about?
Thank you so much! It is so exciting. I have been documenting my pregnancy as the weeks go by. I actually recently revealed the baby's gender over on my blog a few weeks ago! There's so much I am looking forward to. Their first steps, first steps etc. I've been through it all before with my first child Alfie and although pregnancy and labour is quite difficult I know it'll be worth it in the end when I see their little face.

4. What's your favourite thing about blogging?
Ooh there's so many. I have made so many friends through blogging and I feel like my blog is my little outlet to talk about everything that I love and it gives me the ability to share parts of my life with you too.

5. What would you recommend to people that are starting out blogging?
Good question. When I started blogging I didn't have anyone to help me or give me advice and tell me where I was perhaps going wrong. I was always comparing myself to others, which you should never do. Everyone has different ways of writing and different interests. Remember, you're unique, not a copy. Also don't be put off if your blog starts off slow. Mine did, in fact I was shocked I even had one follower that wasn't a friend or family. It takes time for a blog to grow.

6. Apart from blogging, what are your hobbies?
I don't really have any hobbies if I'm honest. Outside of blogging I spend my time with my family. It's so rewarding being a Mum.

7. What are your personal/blogging goals for the future?
This year I want to improve on my photography. I may not have a DSLR or the Olympic Pen but I feel like there's still so much more room to grow with what I have. At the moment I'm not too happy with my photography so I am hoping that will change soon. I'd also like to make my blog a bit more universal and blog about more than beauty. I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing my pregnancy journey with you and I want to take that to the next level and perhaps incorporate my life as a mum into it too.

8. Who are your favourite influencers/instagrammers/bloggers?

I have a few favourites. I completely admire Liza Prideaux as a mummy and beauty blogger. She juggles work and life as a Mum so easily, not to mention she's a lovely person too. I also love Lily from Pintsized Beauty. Her photography is incredible and her writing is always straight to the point and engaging from the start.

9. Is there anything you would change blog wise?
There are a few things that I want to change. As I've mentioned I want to improve on my photography but I've also been thinking about a complete design overhaul too. I feel like my current blog design doesn't  quite show me as the person I am now and I want to change that.

Thankyou so much lovely!
